Philippine Institute of Certified Philippine Accountants – Abu Dhabi Chapter celebrated the success of six newly passed Certified Public Accountants from the recent Special Professional Licensure Board Examination (SPLBE) which was held in Abu Dhabi on August 24-26, 2018. The six passers are proud products of PICPA Tutorial Group Batch 10. They represented 24% of the total 25 CPA passers in United Arab Emirates which is quite an achievement for the organization.

The oathtaking of new passers and members was held at Dusit Thani Hotel, Abu Dhabi on November 22, 2018. The event commenced with the grandiose entrance of the new CPAs together with their family. Miss Sharina De Dios, FY 2018-19 PICPA Abu Dhabi President, formally opened the program. Thereafter, new PICPA members’ oathtaking was overseen by Miss Joy Criste, PICPA Abu Dhabi Director of Membership.
After a sumptuous dinner, Mrs. Rowena Pangilinan– Daquipil, Second Secretary and Consul, Philippine Embassy to the UAE, administered the oathtaking of the new passers and afterwards Her Excellency Hjayceelyn M. Quintana, Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, delivered inspirational message to the group. The ceremony was witnessed by more than 150 members, guests and family of the passers.
Subsequently, heartwarming and inspiring testimonials conveying their journey of coveting the CPA titles followed. Each one was given their opportune time to tell their story and motivate hopefuls and aspirant accountants. With this new achievement, brighter future awaits them. This is the beginning of more challenging role, bigger responsibilities and more job opportunities.
Everyone was in festive mood celebrating the memorable night for the passers. PICPA DanzSquad also performed and entertains the crowd with their magnificent moves.
